ABOUT US
The Mrs. Nicole Jones McNeal Scholarship Program was established to honor the exceptional achievements of Mrs. Nicole Jones McNeal, a distinguished alumna of Claxton High School and Claflin University. A graduate of Claxton High School in 1998, Mrs. McNeal was recognized for her academic excellence and continued her education at Claflin University, where she earned a full academic scholarship. She graduated summa cum laude in 2002 and was named a Presidential Scholar for her outstanding contributions to the university’s academic community.
This scholarship program is designed to support the educational aspirations of deserving students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to community service. In creating this scholarship, we aim to reflect Mrs. McNeal’s dedication to both personal achievement and the empowerment of others through education.
Recipients of the Mrs. Nicole Jones McNeal Scholarship are encouraged to embody the same passion for learning, perseverance, and community engagement that Mrs. McNeal has demonstrated throughout her life. This program not only acknowledges individual academic accomplishments but also promotes the values of leadership and service to others, which Mrs. McNeal continues to exemplify.
